The Loop is a simple platformer where you play as Mediocre Sal, an ordinary character moving through ordinary levels that feel familiar and easy to understand at first.

As you progress, each level progressively starts to corrupt. The structure of the game begins to feel less consistent, textures change, and things do not always behave the way you expect. The experience slowly shifts as you start to question what is part of the level and what is part of something else.

Mediocre Sal is just trying to reach the end of each stage, but the world around him becomes harder to trust. The rules of the game feel less stable over time, and progression starts to feel less predictable.
